ANZAC Ted

When we made the ANZAC Ted we then had to write a story about what ANZAC Ted has been through. This is my ANZAC Ted and story.
After ANZAC Ted came back from war he got brang home with his owner. His owner was now retired and now ANZAC Ted got left in the cupboard. He had been living in total darkness for 50 years. But one day the doors opened and light burst onto him. He saw a young girl. She had light brown hair and green eyes just like his owner. When the girl saw ANZAC Ted she said "Look grandad it's your ANZAC Ted." She lifted him from the darkness, got the dust off him and took him to the kitchen. When he got taken down to the kitchen he was given to a 70 year old man. ANZAC Ted recognised the man right away. It was his owner. The next day ANZAC Ted went to the ANZAC parade with the girl and his owner. He was happy to see his owner again and from now on was brought to the parade every year. THE END.

This story gave me goosebumps Peyton. What a creative, and touching story! I bet this is true in some households... children find old teddies or keepsakes from their nana and poppa, and I bet they all have stories behind them!
